Mentor-Protégé Agreements

LRS Federal has an Air Force-approved reimbursement agreement with Jacobs Engineering Group (Jacobs). Jacobs, with over 57,000 employees in 490 offices in 26 countries, provides technical, professional, and construction services globally. Jacobs has provided environmental remediation services for the federal government, including the DOE, for over 30 years. Jacobs currently holds several 2008 Engineering News Record rankings - #11 in the category of Top 200 Environmental Firms, #10 on the Top 400 Contractors, and #8 on the Top 40 Program Managers; and is #308 on the Fortune 500 list of companies. Through this Mentor-Protégé agreement, LRS receives training and support from a truly world-class organization with proven success in each LRS Federal target market.

DOE
In 2006, LRS signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Oak Ridge National Laboratory to deploy innovative technology. By 2008, LRS was approved as an ORNL Protégé in a DOE-approved Mentor-Protégé Agreement. This program provides a number of benefits that include preferential contracting opportunities and long-term teaming relationships between ORNL and LRS Federal.
