US Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District Rapid Disaster Infrastructure Response
As the managing member of the LRS/EMR JV, LRS was awarded the Omaha District Rapid Disaster Infrastructure (RDI) Response MATOC by the US Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District. The RDI MATOC facilitates time-sensitive disaster, infrastructure, and construction related activities in support of federally funded customers.
The primary scope of work includes flood recovery, infrastructure, emergency management, and military facilities and infrastructure recovery support.
LRS completed three task orders under this contract. On each task order, LRS served as the construction manager (at risk) overseeing the work of local subcontractors performing the construction activities. The task orders awarded to LRS include:
Lake Waco Shore Stabilization, Texas: stabilization and regrading of the Lake Waco shoreline following a major flooding event.
Butts Field Airfield Repair, Colorado: airfield repairs following settlement from a prior project that created unsuitable airfield pavement
Waiakea-Uka Flood Control Project Repair, Hawaii: repair of a stream conveyance system following Hurricane Lane, the second wettest Tropical Cyclone in U.S. History
