Market Area Visioning Study for the San Antonio Region Military Health System

LRS Federal is the Managing Member of the LRS Paradigm Engineers Joint Venture. Under the JV's Prime Contract with USACE Hunstville Center, LRS was contracted to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) in performing Market Area Visioning for the San Antonio military healthcare system. The San Antonio market is unique due to the size and diversity of healthcare operations and their supporting facilities to include medical, research and development, education and training, administrative, and health IT involving all three services. The San Antonio market has approximately 235 associated facilities to meet these needs. The intent of the Visioning effort was to develop Courses of Action (COAs) that would capitalize and exploit strengths and opportunities of the federal healthcare network to be implemented in the next 15-20 years.
